Use IP Address Controls to limit access to your database

Sometimes, you do not want all of your users to have access to your data. Use IP controls to limit permissions.

TIME REQUIRED: 3 MINUTES

YOU WILL NEED:  

  • Access to your eBoss System Tools

  • IP addresses of authorised users

STEP 1: NAVIGATE TO THE SYSTEM TOOLS

1.1) Navigate to /myoffice/system in eBoss.
1.2)
Scroll down until you see the IP Address Control switch.

STEP 2: ACTIVATE IP ADDRESS CONTROLS

2.1)
Switch the controls to "ON" (1).
2.2) Enter the IP address(es) you want to continue allowing access for, in the field below (2).


STEP 3: ALLOW MULTIPLE IP ADDRESSES (optional)

3.1)
You can enable multiple IP addresses to access your system by entering them into the field separated by commas (eg: 127.0.0.1, 127.0.0.2, 127.0.0.3, ... etc)
