Every communication with a candidate or client should be on record in eBoss, even when it happens outside the system. By linking your Outlook or Exchange email account, you can:
emails sent from Outlook will appear in the notes section against that candidate or client
emails sent from eBoss will appear in the sent items in Outlook
Invites made in your outlook Calendar will appear in your database
Reminders booked in your
Follow these simple steps and you will be set up within an hour.
Go to "My profile"
Then do the following:
Click the "on" button in the Exchange Sync section
and enter:
Exchange username: your full email address
Exchange password: you email password
Exchange url: The url provided by your email host
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save All. You will get a green banner at the top of the page confirming all settings were saved successfully.
Some of the more common Exchange URL's
Exchange url for Office 365 (non-private server): https://outlook.office365.com/ews/exchange.asmx
Exchange url for Rackspace Exchange: https://mex06.emailsrvr.com/ews/exchange.asmx
If you use Rackspace Exchange email you can find out which mex server number to use by logging into your email account at https://apps.rackspace.com and noting the url you are diverted to in the browser address bar, to log into the server.
