Clearing your eBoss cache and cookies

Sometimes a display glitch, login loop, or out-of-date page can be fixed by clearing the data your browser has stored for eBoss.

You do not need to clear everything. Clearing all browsing data will sign you out of every other website and delete saved passwords across the board, which is rarely necessary. The steps below show you how to clear data for recruitsonline.com only, leaving your other logins and settings untouched.

Before you start: make sure you know your eBoss login details. If your browser is the only place your password is saved, retrieve it from your password manager or use the password reset link on the login page before clearing anything.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and go to your eBoss site (your recruitsonline.com address).

  2. Click the padlock or tune icon to the left of the web address.

  3. Select "Site settings" or "Cookies and site data".

  4. Click "Delete data" or "Clear data" to remove cookies and cached files for recruitsonline.com only.

  5. Close and reopen the tab, then log in again.

Alternative method using Developer Tools:

  1. Press F12 to open Developer Tools.

  2. Right-click the browser refresh button (top left) and choose "Empty Cache and Hard Reload".

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and go to your eBoss site.

  2. Click the padlock icon to the left of the web address.

  3. Click "Clear cookies and site data".

  4. Confirm to remove stored data for recruitsonline.com only.

  5. Refresh the page and log in again.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge and go to your eBoss site.

  2. Click the padlock icon to the left of the web address.

  3. Select "Cookies and site data", then "Manage and delete cookies and site data".

  4. Find recruitsonline.com in the list and remove its entries.

  5. Refresh the page and log in again.

Safari

  1. Open Safari and go to Settings, then Privacy.

  2. Click "Manage Website Data".

  3. Type recruitsonline into the search box to filter the list.

  4. Select the recruitsonline.com entry and click "Remove".

  5. Click "Done", then refresh your eBoss tab and log in again.

This clears only your eBoss data. All your other websites, logins, and saved settings stay exactly as they were.
