eBoss recruitment software provides the tools to enable emails to be delivered using your company email and branding. There are many factors that ensure success in email deliverability and below we offer more information and how to guides to ensure the best deliverability rates are achieved.:
There are three email channels in eBoss depending on the purpose of the message. They are:
Business email - email alerts to your team about events
Transactional email - sending adhoc emails to candidates and contacts
Bulk email - sending one email to many at the same time
When sending email there are a number of settings to get right for example:
Business and Transactional Emails
SPF (sender policy framework)
User/Pass
DKIM Keys
Bulk Emails
Mailchimp
Sendgrid
See below for more information and specific guides for your use case.
Business email ( insert screenshot)
Business emails are the emails your eBoss recruitment software system sends you to remind you about system events, for example: a reminder to call someone. These emails are triggered by calendar events.
Transactional email
This email is your personal business email account. eBoss provides the container for you to send email from eBoss to your recipients as if you were sending it direct from your local exchange/outlook/gmail account. It is important to note that this will not be as reliable as sending it direct yourself unless you put in place specific settings. Mail servers need to know the mail is genuine and authentic and this document will show you how to achieve that and improve deliverability of your emails. Most email providers will not allow bulk email to be sent and usually limit the sending rate to 200 an hour. We do not recommend sending email to large groups of candidates or contacts using these email settings.
Bulk email
Bulk email is a service offered by eBoss recruitment software with our email partners sendgrid. This service allows you to send emails to as many records as you choose. The deliverability of these emails depends on getting the settings right.
